I will be adding a sludgy, folky song to the mix. I don't expect to win, but I like the song and am glad to be entering a songfight after several years of quiet.
I guarantee you Prince would not like my song, but hey I aim for a specific demographic (still haven't found which one).

Re: Ye Olde Lyric Marte
I don't like the way my song turned out, so here are some free lyrics. Fearless Love I’ve got a fearless love It’s like taking drugs and driving Across the country And when I drive my car Into the ocean that I choose I laugh and cry because it’s funny And if my fearless love Can face the depths of y...

Re: free drum machines that can export midis for mac
thanks ken!
i'll give studio one a shot. i don't really have the money right to spend on logic right now. it's nice to know that i don't have to be stuck with garageband, though. i cannot stand that program.

Re: free drum machines that can export midis for mac
Why don't you want to use a drum VSTi? It sounds like you want something that doesn't exist within your DAW. Is that right? so i figured out that garageband doesn't support any vst's, which is part of my problem. i need a program that allows me to create a midi file so that i can then import that f...

Re: free drum machines that can export midis for mac
i'm not sure the difference between drum vsti and what i've used in the past (making do with garageband / using fruity loops before making the switch to mac). simply put, what i'm looking for is free software that i can use to program my own beats and then export those beats into garageband so i can...

Re: What are you listening to right now?
i recently discovered exuma , a bahamian songwriter from the 70's. he released his first two albums in 1970 and they are something else. the music seems possessed. several of the songs are about zombies. one song on exuma II actually attempts to bring a man back to life. here is my favorite song off...

free drum machines that can export midis for mac
anyone know of any? i'm looking for something simple and efficient. garageband is way too cumbersome to even bother working with when it comes to making beats.
i've recently downloaded drumatix, which is great expect for the fact that it won't export anything. any ideas?

Dan said "I Don't Believe You" and I took a step back when I heard that. And I realized that I lost a little of myself in the struggle to build a band. What happened to me just sitting down with my guitar and doing some simple g^2 stuff. i just found this thread somehow. i don't know. hel...

Re: July 7, 2008
i read an article once about words that are unique to one language. i can't remember any of the words, as they all had strange spellings, but the definitions were great. my favorite was "walking through water, searching for something with your feet."
