Pro Tools locks you into a VERY limited set of hardware. Reaper seems to be a lot of value for little/no money, and is a completely fully-featured DAW. Well, I kind of feel bad for whoever has to cover my dreck, but I'm interested (as Mike Lamb.)

I say post an arbitrary deadline whenever you think appropriate. You could manage the songs people cover, I guess, or just let people cover whatever they want. You might end up with 7 "Just Like Heaven"s but you might get some interesting stuff too, with low overhead.

I'd be up for this, time permitting.
