Congrats Sobz. Radio and television broadcasting in the Air Force? Now there's something that has never entered my thoughts until now. Did you do your research and found that sector of the military to be the absolute safest position you could find?
No, just test-driving my non-dick internet persona. It may be just as annoying.

There are some ridiculous jobs. Air Force is the cushiest, safest branch by far, most comparable to civilian life. It's likely the most peril I'll encounter is heat exhaustion at BMT (San Antonio summer, baby).
Radio and television broadcasting for the US Military!
What a fine and noble calling. I hope you continue their fine tradition of reporting their activities with the utmost honesty and accuracy. BTW: I've always thought that many US military incursions may be more palatable to the rest of the world if they came with a jaunty theme tune. Maybe like the Benny Hill theme.
I'm having this fantastic image of Sober completing 6 weeks of training, then they tell him he's shipping out in the morning. Sober >>
Flash to the next scene: Sober on the front line with one of those satellite phones strapped to his back running for his life with explosion all around him and Sober screaming, "I didn't sign up for this SHIIITTTTTTTT!!"
Haha. AF basic is now 8 1/2 weeks, and as of last year has been revamped to be as tough as Army/Navy training. When you sign your contract, you are signing for your specific job, guaranteed. Only idiots sign up without a job booked.
Fitness requirements for graduation:
1.5 mile run: 11:57
Pushups: 45 in 1 minute
Situps: 50 in 1 minute
My 1.5 mile is down to a crappy 13:30, well below entrance requirements, but will easily progress to under 11:00. Pushups and situps will be no problem. I'm shooting for honor graduate levels.
Hey everyone, my ship date got pushed back a bit, so I'm leaving in two weeks. I'm in New Jersey at the moment, visiting my mom, and I'll be leaving most of my stuff here. This means limited internets. Now, I'll be recording a few songs at my buddy's place, and I may find a way to share those, but you'll probably only hear from me once more before I go.
Lol Airman Moreland. On grad weekend liberty right now, will poast moar in a few weeks. Looking forward to getting back into the game. Thanks for all the kind words.
Just got my orders. 7 more weeks of school, then 2 weeks at home, then I ship out to Misawa Air Base, Japan. I'll either be on the radio, or in a studio producing tv and radio commercials. Fucking hooah.
