The Associated Acts List

[Niveous]

In working on the Songfight wiki project, I made something interesting: The Associated Acts List. I took the board names of every person who has posted over 25 times (at the time when I started) and then tried to figure out every band associated with that person. It's not a complete list but I think it's pretty good. I would love input on the list if I left off a band or if I have misinformation. You can check out the list at the link below.

irwin and mikelamb = Kasper
irwin, mikelamb, and "Fusty Nut" = The Nutwalls
irwin, mikelamb, and guest singer (not on boards) = The Narcaloungers

I've participated to varying degrees in a few of the irc-based collaborations, but the above is the regular stuff. And the Orange Collective.

I think that's a pretty accurate list as far as I'm concerned - I am nothing to do with "Japantown Three", mind, and I also wrote the lyric / tune for $tueym (can't remember the song title off the top of my head). There may be others, but that's everything I can remember off the top of my head.

And also Puffy C And The Southern Baptist Pig Face Choir. That one may be true.

@J$- Oops, Japantown 3 should be Jack. (That's Jack, Blue and Future Boy). I'll $teuym to your list

@BLT- I included some writing credits on the list (for instance, I have Berkeley Social Scene on my list since I've written 6 songs with the band). As long as it's a significant amount of work together, I'll include a writing credit. (You'll find BLT & Paco on my list as well)

@Spud- Thanks. There are some big collaborations (such as Jon Eric & Friends, W2 and the Temps, Songfight Orchaestra) that I've yet to research into.

Not sure how you generated the list of artists, but I also played bass on the IRCBFF track "Back from Juvie."

Edit: Found IRCBFF as "IRC BFF"

I'm just cruising through the list to see if I catch anything

1. Blue Lang is also associated with Ken's sonofsupercar 'n stuff or whatever we called that collab.

2. futureboy is 1/3 of the Cutie Pies.

3. I'm not sure if this is giving away anything, but Shark Tornado is made up of a couple of fairly well-known songfighters.

4. glennny is also in Yardley Social Scene.

5. I am also in the Ken's Chocobear and Spud Case band. (Ken, Glenn Case, Rachael Layne, Spud together for Obey All the Laws)

6. I seem to have double credit for Cutie Pies and no credit for the Mosswoodians.

7. I am also part of Kitten Tikka Masala (w/ obscurity), Bravo Bros., and Two From 14,

8. Lunkhead is Otaglia! (Starfinger as well, but I guess it wasn't submitted). (I also wrote some of their lyrics)

9. Seamus is part of the Orange Collective.

10. what about my good friend Evil-E? Has he not posted to the boards?

11. I know Ryan from BSS posts occasionally. He is also part of the Mosswoodians and Location Location Location.

Because Ken always wants to stop at 7-11 for a frozen burrito and a cherry slurrpy. I can deal with the cherry garlic burps, but the microwave burrito farts burned my eyes and it impaired my vision.
