You make it look too easy, like you could just build a guitar from scratch in 22 steps.

Lol! Sorry aboot that. There was absolutely no easiness intended. I have a very insufficient collection of tools, all of which are cheap, and, man, let me tell you: I'll NEVER attempt something as retarded as using flooring again. Trying to get the contours off the uderside without a planer? Brutal. Having to use the tablesaw to get the finish off? Dumb.

There will definitely be more projects in the future, but they will involve better tools, and real wood.

Very cool. What made you think "Hmmm. This floor would make a great guitar."

well, it's bamboo, innit? It's, um,... got cool grain. And stuff.

There was a box of it for $10 at the recycled hardware store, and M & thought "geez, this MUST be good for something, it's only ten bux eh!"
Turns out it wasn't enough to do our bathroom, and was actually good for nothing, so it ended up in the workshop where stuff gets messed with.

For some reason, I was expecting a section of stalk, very "Gilligan's Island" looking. You made something beautiful looking. Sounded good on Fever Dream.
What pickups, etc did you use? Is that a Charvel neck?

The neck is off an old Series A that had been modded to the point of ridiculousness. It presented an awesome opportunity for someone who had neither the gear nor the skills to make a neck.

the pickup is a Duncan "screamin demon", also robbed off the Series A. The only thing I actually had to buy, parts wise, was the tight end bridge.

Very impressive, S-Boy! The switches are what - phase and coil. I have no question mark.

Kill switch, and coil tap. It was tempting to run a phase for that funky spank sound, but a coil tap seemed more useful.
