Interstellar

Post by Lunkhead »

Just got back from seeing this in IMAX. Mind blown! I mean, it isn't a perfect movie. There are causality loops and deus ex machina type stuff. Still, I thought it was really enjoyable. Great acting (even weepy Anne Hathaway who wasn't as annoying as I thought she'd be, except in her one monologue), great visuals I like the idea that millions of people are seeing a movie like this.

Agreed. I really thought this was an excellent movie. It doesn't have the best story and some of the twists are unbelievable, but it had good emotion and visuals. It was a compelling 3 hours and totally worth the extra for IMAX.

The second hour could have been a lot shorter in a way that was much more believable. And the execution of the bootstrap paradox kind of bugged me. But overall I still liked it a lot.
