Hey, I'll jump in with a song by tomorrow if I can gather up the other half of the Kandagawa Hitmen to finally record. Is a Don Henley solo track fair game?

Ok, barring anything ridiculous happening, the Kandagawa Hitmen will be in. What song will we be doing? I'm leaning towards "The End of the Innocence" while Aurora is leaning towards "Everything is Different Now".

Wanna know how you clip the wings off of an Eagles cover song from yours truly? Send me to the Dr. to have a nagging thumb pain checked out. Long and short of it is, I apparently tore a portion of the tendon or ligament on my thumb and the Dr. put my hand in a cast. Bright side is it's better than the surgery I thought I was going to need. The bad side is I didn't finish the guitar solo I had included in the arrangement of my song. So I'm either going to have a gaping hole in my song where a solo should be or I'll have to try to fill it somehow. We'll see, I'm not going down without a fight though.

This took 15 minutes to type.

there's lots of ways to "solo" with one hand. eggshaker. tamborine. fingersnap. you could always kazoo your guitar solo, which might even be more awesome to hear. :)

just don't clap.

oh yeah, and MIDI only takes one hand!

Your dad needs to sit down with you and discuss innuendo on a message board.

Oh wait.. that wasn't an innuendo. That was just naughty.

What? There was an extension? Crap.

Well, here's ours, as it stands. My mixing software is refusing to pan, so it's a litle crowded in the middle, but hey, I thought it was due today, so here it is.

I will replace with a properly spaced version by the new deadline if I get it working again.

There is no extension, as far as I am a\ware. I will be putting up as many songs are as in so far at some point tonight (i.e. in the next six hours). There's even a fancy voting mechanism (although not as fancy as Songfight's).

Latecomers will be added to the page/voting mechanism as they come. But the voting deadline will be Christmas Eve. I have decided arbitrarily. So if you want votes get that link to THC or to me, as soon as ...

Are you hosting J$ or is THC? Where do I send my song?

I'm hosting it, THC is forwarding links to me, so either will do! Don't worry. The quickest way is to me, but if it goes to THC he's emailing me links I haven't got at the end of his day (Canadian time) so it'll be caught one way or the other

Oh, and Spud I will put this version up for # - just replace the mp3 on your website when you're ready (alt. if you want me to host it, send me new link)

It's me. Sadly, Mad Dog is out of town. Perhaps he will make a guest appearance on the updated track...
