In, definitely. I take dibs on 'SOS', unless brad wants to do that one, in which case, I'll do 'Knowing Me, Knowing You'

I REAAAAAAALLY want to do Super Trouper. But I dunno if I can, depending on how quick Bjam wants this to pop off. All my gear's still in storage. I wouldn't want to phone it in via garageband. :/

I think I would like to do SOS as it is currently my most favorite ABBA song if Sven doesn't mind.

Ditto, except, put "Hey Hey Helen" in the song title part.

When would a good time be? I'm thinking people will be getting crazy busy for the holidays, so it might not be so good. So... January? February? *shrug* Valentines Day Abba fight? That'd give you 2-3 months. Or is that too long?

Agreed, bjam, plus the GoM is going on too, so Valentine's day would be perfect. Plus, it's my birthday the next day, so it would be like an internet bday present to listen to a bunch of ABBA covers. And stuff.

Hey, my birthday's on Valentine's day itself. Abba sidefight/Sven and Bjam birthday present.

So. Er, post if you want in I guess, then I'll do a big list some time in a week or two.

Damn! But that's my song! I feel the beat of the tambourine every day of my life! *pout*

In which case I call dibs on one of the following Abba songs

1. Waterloo
2. The Day Before You Came

Unless anybody else had plans to do these.

I'll have to re-familiarize myself with Abba's catalog. This sounds like a good challenge, though, so count me in pending a song choice. (Suggestions welcome)

Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight) please.

I find myself pondering how Johnny Cash or Elvis would have delivered it.

I can't figure out if blue's kidding.

Either way, I'm in, and I call Lay All Your Love On Me. A Valentine's day deadline works. Gives me time to recruit a choir.

(Also: we need a Dancing Queen sidefight-sidefight...)

This one sounds good. The lyrics look pretty cool, and I kind of remember hearing the tune back in the day. I'll source a copy of the song and get to work.

Jim Tyrrell = Fernando.

I have Abba Gold - if anyone needs an mp3 of the song to remind themselves I can run them one off tonight ... I might just mp3ise and upload the whole album to my website actually ... it only has the hits on it, not any album tracks ...
