the Tick - on Amazon

Anyone else watching this new series? I just started it after watching the pilot a while back and the second episode is really good.

We watched the pilot a while back when they asked for votes to decide which shows would continue. I liked it pretty well, although not as well as the cartoon version. Better than the previous live action one. I didn't realize the second episode was available yet, so I'll check it out.

I'm about halfway through and am really enjoying it. The characters are cartoonish, but still believable. The pacing isn't rushed and the story is unfolding well.

Well, I just finished the second half of season one and WOW, this show is REALLY GREAT. I just really like it. The characters are fun, the visuals are good, and the Terror can really play the drums! I hope Jackie Earle Haley wins an award for this role. Just a fun watch. Why isn't everyone talking about this!?!!?

Too many shows to watch, we still haven't gotten back to this...

SPOOON!

Tick season two started this week. Enjoying the character development and general oddity of this season.

I'm super excited!! I started watching and am 1.5 episodes in so far and loving it. I haven't read a ton about it but supposedly they are going to really expand the world and the cast of characters, setting up a lot of great possibilities for a third season.

Aargh, they cancelled it. :( :( :( They had just set things up for so much possible goodness. I don't think season 2 was quite as awesome as season 1 but I think it really laid a lot of exciting groundwork for the future. But now apparently there won't be a future.

I never got around to watching season 2 but I felt like season 1.5 wrapped things up nicely enough for me, so maybe I won't watch 2 after all.

I ended up watching season 2 and I enjoyed it quite a lot. A shame it's canceled though, the ending of season 2 sure left a LOT of stuff to happen.

The Moth's whining drove me nuts. I couldn't stand it after a while, didn't get super far into Season 2.

Arthur does get somewhat better throughout the season, at least, but I can totally see that being a reason to stop watching.
