How About "The Stone Cold Caper"

Post by footinmouth »

Is that good? Bandname-wise, I mean. Foot In Mouth Disease has already lost some of its magic.

Last time your poll results were 3-1 AGAINST "Foot In Mouth Disease" and you went with it anyway. Kind of getting boring, yo.

The only down side would be an imagery of stone cold steve austin it conjures - for me it conjured "Stone Cold Crazy" by queen - which implies quality rock.

Still think Umm is the best band name you've had.
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

Since you're asking.... Stone Cold Caper sucks.

I still like Foot in Mouth Disease.

Haha, I won't quote you on this. But seriously, I feel like "umm..." doesn't really embody anything. It feels like a cop-out name to me.

But it seems unanimous that stone cold caper is out. Hmm.

I'm not sure if Foot In Mouth Disease is right for me since every time I tell someone about it, they always seem to wince or smirk. I want something that flows off the tongue as well as FIMD, but doesn't have any obvious meaning or joke behind it. Just a good sounding name.

Hey what this thread needs is a giant embedded youtube video of you going through a long list of potential band names and crossing them out one by one - I'm not really getting enough of you at the moment

Am I the only one who conjured up 'The Stone Cold Raper?'.

That's why *I* didn't like it.

...or did I?

mmm.

How about removing "the" and turing it into Coldstone Caper?

Or some variation on Coldstone. It's a little too much like Coldplay, but I like the two words crunched into one idea.

that was kinda my initial joking intent - but I guess it is not a Canadian company.

The Stone Cold Caper...sucks.
At first I read it as "The Stone Cold Casper" and thought it was somewhat OK. I assumed that it was refering to the dead body of the boy who became Casper the Friendly Ghost. On second thought, I may use that name someday.

you should conference with reist on band names. he seems to have some experience with this issue.
