Post by Jerkatorium »

Jerkatorium is going to be just Chumpy and me. It'll be a short, all-acoustic set: either two acoustic guitars, or one acoustic guitar and one accordion (haven't decided yet).

I don't think there's any way our set will run over 10 minutes maximum, but we'll probably need that whole 20-minute slot - 10 minutes of music followed by a 10-minute standing ovation.

Ha. We'd prefer to be in the Saturday evening set. Chumpy lives a thousand miles north of me and we have never actually performed together. We both arrive in Portland on Friday afternoon, so Saturday during the day is probably the only time we'd have to rehearse together. But if Saturday isn't an option for us then we'll take whichever slot we're given and make it work.

I'm willing to sit in on anyone else's set too if they need an extra guitarist or bassist. I'm not going to offer my talents as an accordionist because I only use a 12-bass accordion, and because I suck really really bad.

I have to officially say I'm not going this year. Really wanted to see the Pacific for the first time. It's just not in the cards this summer. :(

Jim: sorry to see that you won't be joining us.

C-Ray: Drunken rowdiness is the plan.

Ken: Have you decided full band or not?

Rabid: Do you know if you'll be doing full P++ or not?

Jerkatorium: Rehearsing is a good thing. I'll fit you in on Saturday.

Okay Rabid. We'll keep it as P++ and if Albatross doesn't show, we'll still figure out some kind of live band configuration for your set.

Thank you, that's awesome.

We expect to be so low-maintenance that you might consider putting us before any band that could use extra setup time, so that they can do some setup while we perform (if that is even applicable). And we don't anticipate using all 20 minutes.

Attendence is amazing this year! Line-up looks sweet.

With only 20 minutes, the Future Boy set might be primarily a Rabbit & Ram set, which will consist of a tiny casio keyboard, ukulele, laptop, and two vocals. It is my hope that the venue will have 2 DI boxes so that I can just do a stereo feed to the board from my audio interface. Future Boy songs will likely be done with laptop and voice.

I am now fairly certain I will not be alone on stage. Not sure if that makes a full band or not.

Seeing as Jerkatorium needs the extra time to rehearse and Ken isn't doing a full band, swap them on the lineups. Ken on Friday and Jerkatorium on Saturday. I think that makes sense. Right?
