Also, in case it wasn't clear, this is the title for the live fight at Song Fight Live night 2 Saturday night!

Sending in mine early again, this time it's my first instrumental songfight entry, I know that's frowned upon, I frown upon it myself, but I did write this for the title (although not sure it sounds like I did.)

I'm in, with an actual live recording from the actual live fight.

Incidentally, everyone who performed at the live fight should have gotten a PM with an mp3 by now. If not, please let me know!

Is it an issue to have identical filenames for entries in different fights? This one will be identical to Sacred Coward. Probably it's happened before and our very intelligent Fightmaster knows how to deal with it, but I just noticed that.

If you look at the links to the mp3s, you'll see the mp3s for each fight go in their own folder named after the fight. So filename uniqueness is not an issue across fights but is an issue when an artist submits more than one entry to one fight. I just stick numbers in the filenames in those cases to make then unique. glennny just asked me about this the other day, coincidentally enough.

Congrats to Micah for that and also probably congrats in advance for winning the Internet one too!

Anyway, I'm in, I did rerecord my song in the privacy of my own home so I could have a version without bar noise and screwups, but I still at least did it live as a single take :)

I've written some lyrics (for the first time since May apparently?), hopefully I'll have time to get something live (or live-adjacent) recorded before the door to the Supper Club slams shut.

edit: In! With a sketchy live-at-home recording.

I have submitted the recording of my song from the Live Fight, bar noise and screwups included.

Thanks to fluffy for an excellent quality recording, and for the incredibly quick turnaround in trimming them and sending them all out!

Evil Grin is in with a song written and cell phone recorded by Amanda with some additional overdubs on guitar and backing vox by me. It's half live. Or three quarters live, I guess.
