Wow... well, at least now I guess I can stop complaining about "Prayer for Pancakes" being counted as a fight...

Weirdly enough, I had it in my head that the deadline for this fight was the Sunday of SFLive (which doesn't make sense, given that the live fight was Sunday night, but most of the stuff in my head doesn't make sense any more), so this got written and recorded very quickly.

This means, umm, way more than it ought to... thank you, everybody...

Charles (KA)

P.S. - the new owner of the King Arthur award would appear to be either Caravan Ray (if you ignore Prayer for Pancakes) or Wages (if you're a purist).

Congrats Charles! You deserved every vote!

I will probably keep the streak now unless you're going to count collaborations, cause I'm pretty sure that's the only way I'm ever going to be part of a winning song. :)

Woot! I'm glad I stuck around long enough to see King Arthur get his well deserved win! ;)

Congratulations Charles. You know your winless streak inspired that secret hxaro thing. Or so i've been told.

Yeah, I'd heard rumors of that, as well, even though, at that point, the winless streak was only up to a year and a half...

First off, congrats on your victory. Well deserved.

As for who gets the award, is it based on amount of entries without a victory or amount of time in SF without a win or some amalgam of both?

Strictly based on number of entries. For ease of calculation, we've been basing the record on number of entries under a single band name.

If I'm understanding Charles correctly, then the new recordholder is Caravan Ray - assuming you don't count the "Prayer for Pancakes" fight, which is technically a win for everyone who entered it.

(Makes me wonder if I could have been in the running if I'd been a little more consistent with my band names... I've only ever won with Frontalittle Squad.)

Maybe, but your music to my lyrics for "Snow" is impeccable!

By the way, I'm revising that one for inclusion on my next album! Don't let me forget to give you a contributor's copy of the print version once it's ready.

Awesome! Of course, if you make any money and become famous, let's not forget to copyright it together. ;)

It would be kind of tough to determine who had the longest in terms of time. First you need to figure out who's been active the whole time, etc.etc. I figure I'd have a reasonable shot at that one, but who's going to do the legwork? ;)
