Line 6 has a new line of amps that are like a cross between a stereo Bluetooth speaker for your iPhone/etc. and a guitar amp:

It's got five speakers, two for use as Bluetooth speakers, one main one for your dry guitar sound, and two more for your wet (with stereo digital effects applied) guitar sound. It's also designed to be compact and nice enough looking not to have to hide in the man cave/practice space/studio/etc. And there's an iOS app for controlling it and tweaking effects settings and more.
I think it's a pretty interesting concept. I could see a lot of kids getting this as a first amp/stereo. I'm curious what people think of this.

Re: Line 6 AMPLIFi
Wow. That thing's pretty crazy. Too much/too complicated for a primate such as myself, but sure is flexible. Great all-arounder, as long as one part keeps working if another fails.
Bringin' the stink since 2006.
