Is there a legal link? I heard their Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and it was very good.

I want this. I'm one of the few people who actually thought A Ghost is Born was awesome.

Thanks for the link. I had the page open for a few days and finally got to listen just now... quite good. Some parts are really brilliant.

I thought it was mostly awesome. They dragged the random noise bits out a bit too far. Also, "Gunsmoke" didn't really do it for me.

I believe you're referring to "Kidsmoke" and yes it really wasnt that great of a song on the album. But did anyone hear the Wilco live CD, "Kicking Television"..... its simply amazing  and if you're just looking to get into Wilco I'd suggest starting there. Such a good record.

Yeah, "Kidsmoke" is the one. For some reason, my iTunes saved it as "Gunsmoke."

this is a ridiculously good album.
I don't know many people who can make such listenable music that is also bordering on avant-garde at times, but Jeff Tweedy does it perfectly.

Unfortunately this album is too loud. Open up the levels in iTunes, WMP... whatever you use, and you'll see it max out a lot. On a good pair of headphones, you can hear the digital distortion... what a bummer :(

I want to find out who produced this album, because no other Wilco album has this problem.

this album has grown on me a lot more after a few listens...smooth and soulful and the sweet little guitar licks thrown here and there are always nice.....kinda throws me off every time I hear one of the songs on those Volkswagon commercials though
