How will judging and scoring work for the final round? I recall it's all the contestants (as well as the judges?) voting. Now with 4 choices do they rank them all? Or just give a one vote to the favorite?

just curious

4, 3, 2, 1 where 4=the best song and so forth down the point value line.

Then Niv' makes Lunkhead do math, heh.

Then Lunkhead makes a spreadsheet do the math?

So voting is open to all participants that qualified for round one, excluding finalists, and includes the judges, is that right? So 21 +5 is 26 judges, intense.

EDIT: I just went back to the first post in the original thread - no judges, just exiles, huh?

I thought the judges were excluded. I know last year there was some last minute talk of including the judges but I don't think that happened.

I just mailed it in. While I dare not predict a winner, I feel pretty confident that there won't be a four-way tie again. Good luck everybody, and NUR EIN!!!!!!!

P.S. Lyrics posted as if I can't understand them, who will?

I would just like to say that all those guitar harmonics in TWSA's song are tasty. So tasty.

I think I've now done reviews for rounds 2-6. Doing reviews for rounds 0-1 seems like a lot of work... I'm not sure about reviewing for round 7 yet, as I don't want to influence anybody's rankings. I'll probably wait till after the winner has been picked.

It's tough waiting till Tuesday.

I enjoyed all of the songs this round - I think we continue to be solidly diverse. It would be a good tour!

Yes, if I hadn't been able to recognize people's styles before Nur Ein, I sure could now. Good tunes, all, and I although I wouldn't pick mine as the winner, I don't know which other I'd vote for.

Time is running out and the voting is very close. Your vote may be the one that turns the tide for one of these bands!!!!

I was out of town over the weekend, and these songs served as the soundtrack to my train ride home. Unbelievable. Never have I seen a challenge so thoroughly whomped.
