I read this book 5 or 6 years ago and found it to be as awesome as I'd come to expect from Gaiman (he's the bloke that wrote the Sandman comics). Anyway, apparently his publishers have agreed to make it available for free online for the next month. I recommend taking advantage of their kind offer.

Just finished part one. I agree, this is a compelling novel so far (I was hooked after the fifth or so page)
