It was fun. Mostly just a group of my friends, and the tight pants kids that worked at the bar. 2 hours is a long time to play, I played for like 1:15 and ran out of songs that I felt comfortable playing. Everyone liked it, and I got some free pbr. Win.

Yay for live music!

And for the rest of the world. pbr is Papst Blue Ribbon beer. Very cheap domestic beer. Popular amongst people with very little money, such as college kids and bums. :P

Also popular with hipsters who want to look like they have no money.

Every time I go back to Ohio to visit my relatives, all they offer me is PBR. They come here, I offer them Coors light, which is my go to domestic. They take one sip and make a face like someone punched them in the nuts, lol. Then say, where is the nearest beer store? lol.

It's funny how that is, here in Va the standard is bud lt. Which I abhore. I know many many people (mostly came from out west) who swear by the watery, devoid of taste of the tapped Rockies. I can't do it, and coors original has a weird after taste. I have heard that the coors brewing plant is the cleanest industrial complex on earth, and you could drink the beer they spill on the floor there, which I guess says something. Honestly, I usually drink Stella (yeah I know) and Guinness draft, but a "p-bar" will do in a pinch.

My fall-back beer is Sam Adams when there's no local microbrews or Fat Tire.

Grats on the show! You should post a tutorial on booking shows.
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

I love Sam Adams winter beers. It's that time of year to stock up when BevMo puts them on special. I got a case of SA October fest brew last month. The winter lager is next.
