I have a lot of those as well. I even have a cover of an LCD Sound System song "All My Friends" I just came across that I did and I don't know why and I forgot about it. I think I just liked the flow and groove and wanted to cover it to get the feel for the style to influence my own work. Not sure if it did or not.
EDIT: Weird, I could have sworn I added a link to that LCD song to participate in the "fluffy's treasures in the scrap directory" show and tell thingy.
