John Fogerty is my hero! "Walk on the Water" is perhaps my favorite... other notables: "Hideaway", "Suzie-Q", "I Put a Spell on You"... I might as well list their whole catalog.

Maybe "Born on the Bayou", maybe "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?", maybe a million other ones. I never heard a CCR song I didn't like.

Here's another one that took longer to come up than I thought it would!
Honorable mention to "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" (one of my favorite songs to sing at karaoke) and "Bad Moon Rising" (one of my favorite songs to jam with a live band).
My actual favorite is "Up Around the Bend."

Lodi. Just Lodi. Fogerty said in an interview that he never actually went there before writing, but he somehow captured the entire Central-Valley-California experience in one song. After growing up in the Central Valley (and wanting to leave every minute I was there), I can tell you that this song was at the top of my playlist growing up.

I've seen the rain coming down on a sunny day.
I've been stuck in Lodi twice.
I ain't no senators son.
However my pick is Down on the Corner.
I think every one of there songs needs a guitar solo.
To me the band is mostly about John Fogerty's vocals.

Down on the corner, definitely. It Came Out of the Sky. Anything from 'Willy and the Poor Boys', basically. Also honourable mention to 'Have You Ever Seen the Rain?' FBF knows CCR are/is one of my secret passions. Now anyone reading this post will, too.

Mine is "Lodi", followed by "Have You Ever Seen the Rain".
Honorable mention to "Someday Never Comes", my father's favorite song, which nobody has mentioned yet. (No, he never left my family.)

Thing is, every time someone mentions a song... I think, "Oh, maybe that's my favorite!". "Someday Never Comes" is a great one. I can't decide which father son I like best... that, "Cat's in the Cradle" or "Father and Son"
