I've got something. Finally. It's not super polished but I guess that's normal.

When I go through my soundcloud I notice a song I did for this, which I actually played at SFLive NYC this year, but probably forgot to introduce it as such... just popping by this thread to give anyone a nudge. Or wonder if I missed something. And probably remind myself to finish the second title song I was given

Ok, I handed mine in finally. Features a guest vocal (very brief) from Starfinger.

Upcoming: I am currently thinking about archiving all the Circles like Jon did with the first few. Nur Ein style, perhaps. I'd have to ask Niveous or someone for help, but I'll see to that after this year's CoT titles have been assigned.
I see that a lot of you guys submitted late entries (EDIT: I see the above are not late entries, though there is a certain tendency, and I'm not excluding myself), which sadly don't get much recognition usually. But, when archiving this thing, I'll try to include as many songs recorded for any CoT title at any time as possible. 2016's Circle is particularly complicated in this respect:
MicahSommer wrote:Will we ever hear the entries that have been submitted? Pretty please?
Hopefully so!

So, if you have something submitted for last year's CoT, just post the songs here like some people already did. They will all be archived later.

I'll set up something for archiving and hosting past CoTs as part of hosting CoT VII.

Yeah, we do need that info on who requested the songs and such. Maybe as songs show up, the requester can speak up?
Also, there were 13 entrants but I only see 3 songs in this thread. Where are the others?

Mine was "Strange Promise / Larger Than Eternity" (both cool titles, if you ask me), by Cookie Blue (whom I know personally, else I would have no idea whose titles those were). That means Cookie Blue was participating, too. Cookie's titles were "Rhamphorhynchus / Not a Dinosaur". (Who submitted these?)
I never recorded a song for my title(s), yet, but as I would like to set an example ;) I will record a song and post it in this very thread, after the Bone Saw deadline next week.

The titles I got were "The Only Way is Up" and "Changi Palms". I did Changi Palms, posted the lyrics, and John Eric politely asked me to take them down. I will try to load it. I'm not near pc this weekend.

The titles I gave were "Eavesdropping in a Mortuary" and "Losing Touch with Reality". I didn't remember that at all. I must have given the title I half-remember in CoT V. Yep. Don't know if anyone ever recorded it.

Thanks! This is going to be a hard task, it seems. With Jon not being around to remind everyone of finishing their songs, a lot of titles disappeared into oblivion. I like "Eavesdropping in a Mortuary". Hope someone recorded something for that one.

I couldn't find it on my pc. BUT I had the pm to Jon Eric, and was able to download the file from there.

The titles I received were "Glue" and "Ashes in a Wooden Box."

Here's a very slightly remastered version of "Glue" that I included on an album I released earlier this year: https://micahsommer.bandcamp.com/track/glue

The titles I gave were "Heard it Hurt" and "Don't Say My Name." I have no idea who received them or if a song came out of either one.

I seem to have pointlessly deleted all my PMs between 2008 and 2016 but I'm fairly sure one of my titles was 'How not to be a woman' - there were two, the other - no idea. Probably not helping Herr ;)

Good news, everyone!

I hear there's been an attempt to collect all of the songs from Circle of Titles VI, but I don't know any results. In the meantime I've finally finished my Circle of Titles site and I've added all of the CoT6 songs I came across, here: https://cot.music-jk.net/circle/cot6

If you submitted a song, please send me a copy (PM, link here in the thread, or e-mail to jast@srcd.de) and I'll include it. (Yes, this is probably not the first prompt from random people to re-submit your song... but I've put up the page already as proof that I'm Serious For Real Now, so hopefully that makes a difference.)

If you didn't submit a song during the official event but made something for one of the titles (for any past CoT) just for the heck of it, send it in anyway. I'll host all unofficial submissions, too. Do let me know which artist name I should use.

If you'd like to add a link or description to your artist profile (CoT artist profiles are a feature I'm working on right now), let me know, too.
