Hooray, Inhumans is gone and the Agents are back. I think I like this season so far although this new storyline is pretty tense. They've set up a lot of mysteries to unfold and put the characters in a pretty impossible seeming situation. I'll keep watching to see how it turns out, hopefully they won't screw it up with some lame explanations for what's going on.

Back to the present! And a new mysterious organization, plus, the return of Hydra? SHIELD working with Hydra?! Could be sort of good maybe? I don't know, the pace feels like it's slowed down a bit. The whole "fear dimension" thing was pretty lame, but, the surprise that came out of it about Fitz was pretty effective I thought.

And Clark Gregg will play Phil Coulson in the Captain Marvel movie now, they've announced. But that's set in the past, in the '90s, so, that doesn't mean he won't die in Agents of SHIELD.

Almost cancelled, not cancelled, one more season, but it's short, and now, one or two more seasons after that. Lots of ups and downs for this show. Captain Marvel comes out in three weeks but this show isn't back for months. Who knows what they will do with it.

Good point. They usually try to tie the show to the movies.

This show is back again, against the odds, but for its actually finally last season this time. I wasn't sure about the latest gimmick for bringing Coulson "back from the dead" at first but I think they're doing good things with it. One of my guilty pleasures is watching the CW DC superhero shows. Seeing Agents of SHIELD again after so long, I am realizing that it's really a cut above those. Not that that's saying much, and it's still cheesy comic book stuff, but, they somehow make better use of the characters and actors or just write better plots and dialogue or something. I feel like they're even handling the whole time travel thing better. I nearly always hate the way crappy writers use time travel but this instance is not bugging me as much for some reason. They're not getting bogged down in all the cause/effect multiverse etc. quagmires, just keeping moving forward and keeping the action going. I also like the addition of the Agent Carter character into their group. That guy's good.
