Re: Did you see that?! (Eyes in the Dark prefight)
Is it possible to make spooky sounds with my brand new, not yet delivered, unneeded, but cool wah pedal?
Stay tuned for the answer to this and other moronic questions.

Re: Did you see that?! (Eyes in the Dark prefight)
I dunno but I just got a sweet distortion pedal amp/sim (joyo California) and I fully intend on using it. As for the spooky sounds...I guess I'll have to figure it out.

I picked up the american sound and actone. Both really great pedals and are clones of the tech 21 brand. Using a strymon iridium now.sleepysilverdoor wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 6:22 amI dunno but I just got a sweet distortion pedal amp/sim (joyo California) and I fully intend on using it. I’m in with a fast tracked track, another Halloween track even more juvenile than the last. Spooky but upbeat, happygothcore hip hop? Yeah sure

Same here.
I'll have to listen out to see how it sounds in your song.

Re: Did you see that?! (Eyes in the Dark prefight)
Apparently I'm doing my take on space psych again cause my bass plus my new pedal plus reverb makes me sound like the black angels. Might as well lean into it.

Re: Did you see that?! (Eyes in the Dark prefight)
I was trying to deliberately not write a creepy song while using spooky sounds, except I haven't even added anything to my drums and bass yet and it's ALREADY SPOOKY.

In, but completely devoid of any spookiness whatsoever I'm afraid....or rather I'm not afraid and neither will you be
Maybe I should've smuggled the Wilhelm Scream into it

Brown Word in with the spooky stuff. Or maybe it's just regular Brown Word? Was trying to channel WreckdoM's Looking Glass from Nur Ein VIII but ended up with something different (though perhaps of the same creepy universe).

Re: Did you see that?! (Eyes in the Dark prefight)
I wrote a song a couple days ago but I won't be able to record until the due time or after. If I get it in before the songs go up then I'll be in. If I don't I won't.
(Although, I've started compiling a list of songs I've written but never recorded and/or submitted for a tentative e.p./album "did not submit" that I can always add to. Also, I will never get to/finish.)

In! No spooky sounds this time, just lots of distortion and feedback and crashy drums.

In with spooky wolf howls. They're oddly similar to regular wolf howls.

Crowded House just posted this teaser for something on Facebook, so I can only assume that they, too, are entering Songfight this week.

Re: Did you see that?! (Eyes in the Dark prefight)
Anyway, I have most of my recording done, but need to leave my vocal recording until tonight because 2020 insists, so I’ll be in but a bit late. Have gone full spoopy.

Re: Did you see that?! (Eyes in the Dark prefight)
Unfortunately zero loops were harmed in the making. Just leaning in hard on some tropes for full spoopy effect.
