Thanks for the thoughful follow-up. This is very interesting. I think this is probably a flaw in my working style for this type of song... here's the question, for the chorus, I play instead some chords, whereas the verse had single-note melody (if I remember correctly) - does it sound better in the chorus?
If so then I could replace the verse melody synth as you suggest - I wonder how that would sound.

On the first chorus (your voice), it definitely sounds better when the synth goes off the melody. It's harder to tell on Siena's parts - it sounds like the low-end synth is picking up the melody on her first chorus, something is clashing... and on the duet chorus as well. Umm, based on what I'm hearing, I think my suggestion stands. Anybody else hearing this???

Rone I don't think you should die but I do think you should learn how to do something before you go submitting to songfight.

Christ, do you get repeat fees or something? That's the third time to my knowledge you've shared that titbit with us. I wasn't impressed the first time. Happy for you, but not impressed.

Was it a commerical for a garbage collection service, and they were taking your song away?

Rone your song in this fight sucks. It sounds like you've gone into fruity loops and left it open when you went to bed, while you were sleeping your cat walked over your keyboard, you woke up and the first thing you did in the morning was mumble whatever retarded thing you must have thought up on the way from your bed to your computer into a mic which like your song, is worthless. If you managed to sell a song anything like this, then I think whoever bought it smokes crack (I don't doubt it, look at how they act). Rapping is not hard, Fruity Loops is not hard, put some fucking effort into your songs and stop assuming that you must not suck because one idiot liked you, or you're going to keep getting reviews like Sober's.

Did I ever mention I once won $500 for winning the gospel section of a country music competition in outback Queensland?

That still cracks me up

Heh heh heh.

Only you realise now Rone will think you like him because you recorded a song about him. I look forward to the collaboration.

For being around for 6 monthsish, Rone already has two songs(Denyer's and Luke/Jacob's) written about him. Good job, good sir.
