And all in one place... (Post to be edited as more are added)

#1: Write a song called "In the Desert" -or- "In the Dessert." Know which one you should use for your title.
#2: Don't use the notes C or F# anywhere in the song. Not in the melody. Not in the chords.
#3: Must have one solo from an instrument other than guitar or piano. (i.e. bass, drums, horn, skat)
#4a - Write a song about mustard.
#4b - Bonus points if you use the common lexical faux pas "passes mustard."
#5 - Do a rap song.
#6 - Plenty of cowbell.
#7 - Have all elements reversed.
#8 - Fart into a microphone.
#9 - Play all your instruments backwards or back to front (so right handed guitar in the left, for example). Or upside down. Or underwater. Or travelling in a car.
#10 - Incorporate animal sounds musically into the song: samples; made with your mouth; or picking up a housepet and squeezing him/her to the beat.
#11 -Incorporate COFFEE into your song in some way.
#12 - Use the SF Song Idea Generator for a song.

Optional. But bonus points if you make then non-optional. Personally, I'm gonna try and do all of them.

So I did some more work on my page ... I'm trying to do a bit more of a journal-by-day kind of thing. I don't know if I'll have enough time to keep it up, but it's here!

Also, can we have guest stars to do stuff that we can't?

Oh, at first I thought Jolly Roger's page was saying that we all had to each do a punk song, an oldies song, etc., before i realized that's just what he's working on for his.

I picked up some sweet recording gear today, so I'll be spending a bit of this week figuring it out and using it to record this album ... I may not be able to finish the album this week, but the stuff I'm finishing will definitely have real drums!

i'd agree with spud's sentiment. i tend to get annoyed by any website that uses the least bit of flash (unless it's for flash cartoons or something content related). just give me straight html. fancy effects don't impress me.
