just curious

Postby Ross » Tue Oct 10, 2006 7:55 pm

Is a third party giving you these titles - what's your process for that? Just curious.

I had fun tonight. I have two small children and probably won't be able to do this very often, but my oldest had Gymnastics tonight from 6-7, so it worked out ok. If this keep s going I might see you on ocassional Tuesdays :-)

All titles are submitted by magic elves, who write them on tiny angel-wings. Enchanted faerie-folk fly them to me. You can also PM me title submissions, which may or may not be used, depending on if the elves approve (by 60% majority vote).

Assy China and the Eight Foot Splash - Hey you with the really loud bass in your car

The vocals were all terrible so I went back and Autotuned the hell out of them. And a bunch of my plugins kept crashing... argh, I must figure out what's causing that.

Well, I made the unmelody-able song. Other than that, technical troubles were enough to sap my will to finish it. I was able to find and swap in a PS2 mouse and restart my computer, but I keep having these crashes that I never used to have before I started skirmishing... grah! Tomorrow will go better.

I'm never going to finish one of these on time, are I? Almost no crashes today.

Addicted to Ebay

Lyrics:
I own every G.I. Joe
I'm the guy who bought that really large Cheeto
I bought a cup that Elvis sipped
A++, it made a great gift

It gets inside my viens
endorphins rush my brain
every time that I select the way I'd like to pay
It gets inside my viens
endorphins rush my brain
every time that I select the way I'd like to pay

It's just a click away
They bill me every day
I took one bid and I'm

Solve By Grouping

they can't blame me
i'll soon ignore it away
in a crowd
it's stuck somewhere in the gray

responsibility diffusion
my duties slowly are occluded...in my mind
it's easy to cork her
when you're only following orders
solve by grouping
solve by grouping

there's a bad chance mine is the blank
but i only do what the higher ranks tell me
she's spilling her guts
because she won't
when she's in the chair and i flip the switch
with the others maybe this time my circuit won't be the one that clicks
no one raindrop
thinks it caused the flood

responsibility diffusion
my duties are slowly occluded
it's easy to cork her
when you're only following orders
solve by grouping
solve by grouping

waiting around until somebody says something
nobody's saying nothing
nobody's saying nothing
waiting around until somebody says something
nobody's saying

Our Dog - Solve By Grouping

I couldn't think of anything good, so I was like ... HEY!! I should do an Our Dog song. Our Dog is my mess of a side project where I make heavy music and make up words on the spot in gaytarded voices. It's basically just a fun excuse for me to do fast drumming. Enjoy.

EDIT: Great stuff Plat, as usual. I like this one lots. It's up there with my other favorite Plat songs. Great job.

William Regal is said to have Sleep Apnea.

I don't want to make a song so that is my contribution.

Sleep Apnea

My throat has been really sore recently, which helped kill my last attempt and didn't help me much tonight.

Puce: Reminds me of a slightly effected Bowie track for some reason.

JR: Crazy kick pedal action there. I'm fully supportive of going nuts on the drums, though I'm curious what the lyrics are. Even if they're improvised.
