Make a wiki for it, and I will add "Devil's Avocado".

I laughed out loud at this. It's so true.

Some people have friends, some people have a flock that they lead with a crooked cane.

Another defensive statement from one of the banterers.

A) yep, all three leaders were good songs

B) yep, I thought the vote looked suspicious

C) so did one of the fightmasters, he had the ability to check, I didn't.

D) I was wrong, okay.
There was a previous fight (i'd have to look it up) where one of the fightmasters posted data showing that there was a friend flood in order to counter someone's bravado (if I remember correctly).

I think most of us are just looking for an "honest" fight, prize money or not.

Thanks for the vote Wages :-)

i hear you ross. unfortunately, honesty by strangers on the internet is more myth than reality.

the motto here: make friends, influence people, win songfight! :)

here's a suggestion. let's just post somewhere on the homepage in BIG BOLD LETTERS WHERE EVERYONE CAN SEE IT

IF YOU ENTER A SONG HERE, IF YOU TELL ANYONE YOU KNOW ABOUT IT AND THEY END UP VOTING FOR YOU, YOU WILL BE SCORNED, RIDICULED, AND MADE TO FEEL LIKE A CHEATER AND A GENERAL PIECE OF SHIT

ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK

welcome to songfight n00b.

i guess what i'm really trying to say here is yeah, i feel your pain johnny, ross, heather, phil et al. but what can really be done about it?

only allow registered forum users to vote? that would suck. and there would probably be about 20 total votes eack week, with the winner getting 5 votes. wow. big deal. 5 votes. a friggin mandate.

don't tell anyone about your song this week? that would suck too if i was proud of it. if it sucked, i wouldn't have sent it in, so that's not really a viable option for me.

spud and JB are bright guys. if they think there's something amiss, they usually look into it. we owe them the benefit of the doubt. i think we all owe each other the benefit of the doubt.

That's not right. Banning SF'ers from telling their friends they have a song in is not the answer. Telling your friends to vote for you no matter is wrong. But having friends come to the site and listening to the songs isn't a bad thing at all. It increases traffic.

Trust me, if having alot of friends who know you submit on SF made you win I would have won by now.
