Cool. The only idea I've got percolating isn't all that great, and'd wind up being late, most likely.

Now illustrating for Nur Ein... TAWNY... awny ...awny

I've got my deal laid out, just the practice version though. Maybe I'll record the guitar tracks tonight.

Whoa, by the skin of our teeth with that one. I'm Relieved we made it but stung by our scores. Had a feeling we'd gone a little too far south a normal on that one and I reckon I was right. Well, the mission is to make as entertaining a song as we can and Brownie Points is about as entertaining as WreckdoM gets. So wish us luck in the next round everybody, we'll need it!

I may be straying too far from traditional song structure here, but my finished guitar tracks show me that the song is 5 minutes long - this could be my demise, as it seems the majority of songfight hates prog, but hey!
I am what I eat.

... let's try that again ...

I play what I listen to. So get ready to eat some prog everyone!

It might be good I'm not in for this round because I'd never be able to get the Bjork song out of my head long enough to write a song to this title.

sweet i was hoping there was gonna be some challenge like collaborate with a previous contestant so i can still take part in this.

Just letting everyone know. I am willing to do guest vocals on anybodys track if they need help. Backing vox or anything else you might want. BTW i just got a new mic (MXL 990... deal of the day on Musiciansfriend) and it sounds ten times better than my current mic.

Looking forward to using it. call me :D

I would also offer my vocals to someone's track, but even I'm depressed about my vocals lately.

Mine's in. I can't wait any longer to send it in - I have no time to work on it this weekend. :? I think it's the best one by far that I've sent in for Nur Ein II. By the way, the guest vocals are a bit tough to distinguish, as they are do-wops and screams, but believe me, it's hard to get any guest vocals from my family, and I worked hard to get these ones.

Tex Beaumont's Choir of Lost Souls is taking shape nicely.

Mr Lostman and Cynthia Size, your contributions are just the ticket - this is going to be interesting! Still awaiting input from 2 more choir members - meanwhile the mixing and slicing and dicing is ongoing. Any of you who were counting on ol' Texy to go bowing out this week (and I'm sure you all are, based on my first 3 songs) - better just think again...

My first idea has been completely scrapped in favor of something a little more guest-vocal-friendly. New lyrics written, recording to commence as early as lunch time today. Nur Ein!

I believe this song will feature the return of Carolyn Soucy, guest vocalist from one of my songs from the last Nur Ein. Possibly other voices as well.

...song took a bit of a strange twist tonight - as Sausage Boy's contribution arrived  Pure Gold! I'm tempted to thow my stuff away and just enter his vocal track (and SB - there is no need to explain why you were naked - let's keep a bit of mystery - best to just leave us wondering).

And speaking of naked - just one guest vocalist still to come, and he promised to deliver as soon as he can prise himself away from the strip-club. Come on girls, let the man go - he has singing to do...
