One Landfills performance does not a tradition make.

I imagine Octothorpe is in that running too.

I'd consider Spokane as I may only be 279.23 miles away by the summer of 2006. I'm not certain, nothing is.

Only if he can get me a job! Story

How progressive is little Red Neck Spokane to have a gay mayor?

let's not forget the part about the fact that he's a homophobic, child molester, who's apparently done more to repress the rights of gays than anyone else in the state of washington. hardly progressive.

not Glenn. the current mayor.

*on topic, i will say that spokane looks pretty in all those news stories they've been running lately......

Well - I probably won't be making Boston since I spent all my money buying a new house - but I'm definitely going OS next year.

To make it all nice and tax-deductable my trip will centre around a conference either in Dublin in June or San Diego in September. Either way - I'm sure we could fit Spokane in on a round-the-world ticket. Just have to get the timing right... and have someone tell me where the fuck Spokane is.

San Diego's at the bottom of the US Left Coast and Spokane's at the top, roughly speaking.

Sounds awesome Glenn! Definitely since I can't make Boston it'll be good to look forward to next year...

I've been meaning to travel up through that area anyway to see if there's anywhere around there that I'd want to live...

San Diego is very nice; I can recommend a good CD store as well as tasty Indian food. And FISH TACOS.

Hells yeah. Two L.A. shows in a row. I still blame "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" for ruining my voice the night before SFLA #1.

Songfight and liquored-up Karaoke are such a natural marrage. You haven't lived until you've seen ADD rock Midnight Oil at the top of his lungs. Plus, the Primative Screwhead boys select their songs based soley on how many times the F-Bomb is said. Good times, man.

Ha, and I still blame Eric for ruining my voice in Lancaster. Effer wouldn't stop making me laugh!

Heh... yeah, "Too Drunk To Fuck" seemed rather appropriate at the time.

So, you thinking of going?

Cool, I could make Brisbane the Tashkent, or maybe Manchester of Songfight Live - always bidding but never quite getting the numbers - Songfight! Brisbane 2024.
