Man, I haven't even got my first 1,000 yet.... I'll try to catch up over the weekend.

ugh. i think i'm giving it a break for now. i want to keep working on the novel, but screw 50,000 words in a month. i can't do 1,667 words a day, and i'm already behind (7,244). i can only write in short spurts.

i pretty much know what's going to happen in the rest of the novel, so i will write it later. maybe i'll get 20,000 words by the end of the month.

the novel's gonna suck anyway, so i might as well take my time making it suck.

Pushing hard to get this done. I need 11,250 more words, and I've got a day and a half to do it.

do a time warp. your character can warp back to another part of the book. that way you can choose that many words and copy/paste them. change the ending a little though, like "this is what he/she would've done differently."

Yeah well.... My novel does have a time warp, and I ain't finishing it close to on time. My new goal is mid-December.

Just finished. 50,241. With plenty more to write, actually, but we'll leave that for the second draft. If I ever get to that.
