My people-needs for rehearsing:

Ken
Damian
Glenn
Sam

I would like to have about 1 hour for rehearsing sans goofing off.

And I am required to be present for the rehearsal of Tiny Robots and prayformojo.

The Good Times Fun band for SFL:H&D is

Jefff - Guitar
Sam - Guirar
JB - Bass
Ken - Drums

My setlist changes daily, but I'm focusing on upbeat, easier songs. I figure about the same as John...an hour of runthroughs (if possible) and we should be cool. I'll PM the current plan, and I'm totally up for ideas from everyone. I have two songs for sure, one probably that's gonna need some tweaking, and one I keep changing my mind on. I am a terrible front man...

Blue is picking Rachael and I up at the San Jose airport around 2pm on Thursday. I know I will be rehearsing a fair amount in SJ, and even at this late date I'm actually still not 100 percent sure how we're getting to Santa Cruz. (Much less how we are going to get back to San Jose on Sunday...)

I will also need to be present for the Tiny Robots, rehearsal, JB. Perhaps this would work best as a Friday morning/afternoon rehearsal?

ROCK!

I suspect we will only be able to do 30 minute practices on Friday as the most people play that night.

Ken - apparently you'll need to be at Jack's by about 5:00 a.m. so that everybody gets their hour of rehearsal...

The One Stand Knights will need to go through our stuff on Friday, that's me, Spud, Jack, Ken and Fluffy, plus Bjam on one song. If we're all around on Thursday night, we could rehearse then, and since we're opening the show, I guess we're the logical choice for the Friday soundcheck at the venue.

i'd encourage anyone playing with blue to practice with him thursday night or friday morning, and anyone with ken can use my house thursday night or friday morning. it looks as though anyone wanting to rehearse saturday will have to use my house, or maybe some other option i'm not aware of.

i know at least 2 groups of folks are renting houses as well. can these be used for practices or is that not an option?

anyone wanting to or needing to practice at my house, please send me a PM and tell me preferred times so that i can create a schedule. thanks.

I'm going to try to get together earlier with Glenn and Damien and then do the 30 minute thing with you in the afternoon. Think that'll work?

I'll make sure to have some chord sheets, and I'm going to play "Systematic Panic" instead of "Two Bucks" because it's dead easy and people dug it last year.

Let's Get Naked
Freaky Feelin'
What We Need More Of Is Science
Systematic Panic

None of my songs will have stops or starts, and they're all about 3 chords give or take, in very standard formations. Won't be a problem. I am backed by pros, and f-ing STOKED to hear you guys play these songs. I may sit in the audience.

Dirty Hearts:

King Arthur
Ken
Albatross
Rabid
Dre

I recall Rabid/Albatross saying they are not arriving till Fri afternoon - so I hope we can find half an hour or so sometime then.

Ken, KA - maybe I can catch up with you guys for a quick acoustic run-through before that earlier on Fri morning?

Whatever - I sense Friday may be quite chaotic! Let's just see what happens

And just to confirm my set list (not changed from my last PM):

The Price Is Right
Don't Break My Heart George Lucas
I Know My Rights
Pencil Me In
Oversleeping

...in that order - 'Oversleeping' to be dropped if we run short of time.

Well... I'm pretty much figuring I'll be hanging around Jack's Thursday evening, all day Friday and all day Saturday, so anybody who needs to rehearse with me... that's where I'll be. If we have to rehearse in partial bands or small groups... whatever. I don't expect to go up to San Jose for any of those rehearsals.

For anyone who is reheasing with me, I anticipate being in San Jose on Thursday and Santa Cruz on Friday and Saturday.

I have no schedule at this time.

I need to organize with Dre, Blue, and Bjam (and Spud would be good to have too though we've practiced separately already). I also have this strange idea that I might be able to give Bjam a crash-course in the electric violin.

Well the part I wanted her to play on a song is just simple fifths on open strings anyway. I just need to teach her to run the bow over the strings.

Hey, is there a list of addresses and how to get to places somewhere? I'm not too concerned because I'm such a sucky musician that nobody wants me to play with them, but it might be fun to stop by and hang out, you know. I understand folks might not want their addresses and phone numbers posted publicly but it would be nice if that info was available somewhere.
