Thoroughly mad idea this, but do you have any books-on-tape/cd rental shops down there in your neck of the woods?

If so, rent & rip the bloody things already :wink: Cheaper than buying the cds, and just maybe you can unload or regift the tapes somewhere...

...or tweak them up and use the backward masking for an under-track for a song or few, eh? Dig the old-school backwards flange, heh.

Actually, no.

This is Brisbane I'm talking about - not one of your fancy-schmancy overseas cities where they actually have stuff!

You can occaisionally get crappy old cassettes from the public library - but that's about it.
