Note that NI vouchers are kind of useless; they can't be used alongside their sale prices, which are usually the only time it's worth buying. :) Useful if you really want to buy one of their smaller instrument standalones and don't want to wait for one of their 50% off sales, though.

Positive Grid is giving away its Bias FX 2 lite guitar amp sim. Just started playing with it, but it sounds pretty good — especially for free.

Can't remember how to embed links:

Not totally sure what this is, but the TBProAudio 5 Band Frequency Monitor can be downloaded for free.

Product description:
Isol8 is an advanced mix monitoring tool. It divides the frequency range into 5 bands.
These 5 bands can be soloed or muted individually. This will help you to concentrate on certain frequency ranges during the mixing and mastering process.
On top you can use ISLO8 as a flexible multi-band splitter with following complex plugin chains. The split signal can finally be mixed together.
Isol8 is originally designed to be used on the master track, but it can also be used on individual audio track busses.

LA2A clone with a blend knob? YES!!! Everyone get this thing.

Also, since this is discounted it should probably be in the other thread for deals, not free. Anyway, get this!

Slate has a FREE version of their latest SSD 5.5 with a couple free "kits", and it no longer requires iLok or anything. Sounds pretty good for anyone looking for some free drum sounds.
