I lived in Las Cruces for 8 years. It do be like that sometimes. At least this time of year you don't get as many roaches and black widows coming in through that gap.

I'm so glad you liked it and that the lyrics were at least somewhat resonant to your experiences on the road. My own experience in Fort Stockton also involves fast food: stopping for lunch while I had the flu while moving from Miami to Albuquerque and thinking I was maybe starting to feel an tiny bit better.
