Live Performance
So I haven't seen like any video clips of any of the songfight contestants, and I'm really bad at searching forums, so I thought I'd set up a thread that everybody could just post links to live video/audio clips of songs, drum/guitar/bass/piano solos etc ... so I'll be the first to put one up ... I don't have a lot of clips, but this one is pretty awesome. It's a clip of Dr. Spectacular's Power Circus performing the breakup song at our first concert ... I personally don't love this clip, as I think I was pretty bad at live drums back in these days ... aside from that, I think it's pretty cool. Here is a link.

There are a number of old clips from SongFight! Plain and Tall <a href="http://chris.hoblit.net/sfpt/other.html">over here</a>.
We have also done videos of our Been to China and On My Block that I will try to compress and post.

Wow, that's a lot! I got kinda close to that once, but is it cheating if you record yourself playing scales on reel-to-reel tape, chop it up into inch-size pieces, tape it back together randomly and play it back at double speed through an echo effect?jolly roger wrote:Guitar solo from the same concert - 17.2 notes per second. I think it's pretty sweet

Did you watch it? I don't doubt that it is 17.2 notes per second either. He's crazy.
