Guess What Time It Is? Get a Life collab!

Post by wages »

The minimum of what I'm hoping for is a drum loop that would work that I can use as a click track. Getting that last time greatly helped. :) Of course, I would really like to get help with the whole tune if anyone is interested. ;) In the meantime, I'm working on the lyrics and verse 2 and a bridge. Let me know if you are interested and at what level.

Jam demo:

VERSE 1 (the chords are probably a little different than what I play, but what I play is quite rough :)
A7
I go out into public
G7 D7
I can't stand goin' to town
A7
for I can not enjoy this
C Bm7
social living with you around

A7
but it's up to me to
G7 D7
hurry and get out of here
A7
oh the time that I waste
D7 C Bm7 A7
avoiding plastic people out of fear

CHORUS
E G A D7
hey you...mindless little robot
A G E
you shouldn't be out on your own
E G A D7
hey you...simple little feelings
A G D7 A7
you should get a life or don't be around

In my best Al Bundy voice: Let's Gawk!

Charles (KA)

P.S. - I will be recording instrumentals with by usual Band Inna Box machinery; if somebody would like to play some real drums to replace the fake ones, I could drop those into the track, as well...

I'm excited to be working on this so quickly.

....and some real drums would be real nice if anyone's got the time. :)

I'll bite. I need a version with a click track, and a version with a decent drum machine, just so I can have the basic idea of what you want. If you can get it to me pretty soon, I'll probably get the drums to you.

My understanding is that The King will have such a track to send ya (when he's ready). Right, Charles? LMK if I'm wrong.
