I may just have to do this because of my love of Pumpkin Buzzard songs. But what to do? "Important Nightmare" maybe? "Rain Rat"? So many to choose from.

While I'm not at liberty to publicly discuss who the Hoppin' Bug is, if you're really covering this you'll need to get lyrics from me and you're going to be shocked.

I think I'll be able to give Funeral Director a go, seeing as it's the lowest score over there. If you guys don't mind, that is. Do we post them up over at SS?

Are complete reinterpretations allowed, or are you looking for something straighter? If yes, I've got plans for Funeral Director.

Blue will have to tell you where to post songs butSomesongs sounds fine to me.

Reinterpretations are fine and multiple covers of a song are definitely fine. Those who are interested in Funeral Director may wish to hear the SIGNIFICANTLY different original Songfight version here: http://www.songfight.org/music/funeral_ ... ard_fd.mp3

I'd really like to cover Rain Rat, but I just don't know if I can do it between now and the first of Aug because of prior commitments. I dig that tune immensely.

Jute - Request lyrics for Funeral Director, please! Also chords, though I can't promise I'll use them.

Okay, I'm definitely in. I'm doing "Important Nightmare". Any lyrics or chords will be appreciated.

I looked at your list on somesongs, thinking "oh, I'll pick a short one" -- then realized that those numbers were ratings, not minutes in length.

Unamusing anecdote aside, I think I'm in the mood to bang out a cover. It won't win, but if it increases the number of entries, that's good enough for me.
