Did anyone else ask for the practice room? I don't think so. If that's true we might be better off trying to use a different place instead of that one. Thoughts?

:( Feldspar is a cool dude.

I guess I'm takin' requests, since I'm gonna have to play for more time than I thought.

Aw man! Bummed to hear that.

About Feldspar, I mean. Not about Charcoal taking requests. That's a GOOD thing. I want to hear Goodbye Monster. I love that one.

Make Jim play an hour-long epic spacejam version of Margaritaville. Or start late.

Now we have 5 on Sat and 3 on Sun? Should we move somebody? On the other hand, I don't know if I can do any more vocal songs, you might be stuck with me doing ambient improv to fill out my set if I'm supposed to do more.
-bill

PS Margaritaville hahahahahaha yes.

Oh God. I ain't drivin' six hours to do no Jimmy Buffett, folks. :lol:

I can fill time as necessary, but I suppose the most elegant solution would be for one of the Saturday performers to come over to Sunday, if anyone can make that change on short notice.

OR, we can do the three performers as listed, and then follow up with a LIVE FIGHT as a fourth set, maybe.

I'm game. I'm in Bill's band but I'll be there both nights.

Also, is there going to be a live fight? Maybe I'll do something for the current SF titles.

Just got confirmation of car rental and hotel reservation. Yay!

I hope we get SF titles soon. If so, I can work on one with the trio.

Live fight would probably be the best way to deal with the extra time on Sunday. Those who played on Saturday and were still around for Sunday could participate and if any SF'ers come down who aren't part of the big show and wanna participate then they can.

So we just need a title.

Hot tea & honey, man. Works a treat.

Cut down on your smoking, if you do.

Wear a scarf wrapped around your throat when you're out in the cold.

Mz. Conduct swears by the Emergen-C packets for general cold-killing, but I can't verify that.

Carry around a crow's feather? (No, I'm not comparing you with Dumbo :lol: but belief is a powerful thing, yo).

Oh, wait, you said seasoned performers, heh.

Yeah, I was about to make some tea. Don't smoke, no crows in the office. Actually I might go home and try some of that "Airborne" stuff.
-bill

Edit: oh, I have echinacea tea here. I'll try that.

Hopefully you'll be past the worst of it by Saturday. I'm not one for remedies, or even prevention methods for that matter. When I've got to get through a show with a cold I will usually do one or more of the following:

1) Order a plate of buffalo chicken tenders beforehand;
2) Order a shot of Jagermeister or Peppermint Schnapps between sets;
3) Eat about a whole bag of cough drops over the course of the day/evening. I prefer the Halls honey-lemon ones.

That's probably of little help. Sorry. But I do hope you get well soon!!

Seeing as it is my birthday on Friday, and my favourite London club, Duckie, is coming from two minutes down the road from where I live to Studio B, 259 Banker Street, Brooklyn, NYC (Tickets: $10 on the door, no advance sales) on Saturday night (go! great music!), can I suggest a live fight comprising of Johnny Cashpoint covers, impressions or all-round full on campness?

Why don't we go ahead and try to get the practice space for us. At least for my set, since I have the two of you and my other two special guests. Thinking that one hour is probably enough, and we were thinking perhaps at 4:00? Does that sound good? Roy? Niv?
