I'll be doing it, under one hat or another. can't seem to sign in as johnny cashpoint, or get a new password, so it will have to be someone entirely new. Maybe my new band The Dead Buckleys will make an appearance ...

I have two album projects I want to do in February. One will be a FAWM album (as Citizen Six: loop-based stuff), and the other one will be a RPM Challenge album (as Jim Tyrrell: drinking songs).

I'm in.

Hey, by the way, Burr Settles (the guy who runs the whole FAWM thing) contacted me back in 2004 when I did Marathon Songs... does anyone happen to know how he found me?

Oh and also by the way, anyone wanna collab for the half song (or any other song, for that matter)?

I met Burr Settles during the second annual Musical Family Tree festival in 2006. I recorded and mixed his set and he released it as the "Live Indy Folk EP". There are links to it on his myspace page.

I'm game.

In the first instance - I will probably use all of the SF! titles put up in that period as titles for my FAWM - so if you can think of anything you want to try for any of those - let me know.

(and that is an open invitation to anyone else FAWMing too, BTW)

Your wish is my command. I'm in. Niveous, FAWM 08.

Actually, it may be a double FAWM as I will probably be writing for Zinkline again. :)

I am not in. However, anyone dare take up the Paco challenge? FAWM, RPM, an AAD, and whatever Songfight! titles are posted in the month. I did that and some other scraps in 2007, and it nearly tapped me out for the year. However, the storm of creativity is quite intoxicating as you have no other choice but to live it. Go for it... you know you want to...

I'll raise you one. I'm up for all that, plus some Purple Reign, and one title from each of the two SUK cycles that should overlap with the month of February. I'm also going to try to get some skirmishes going throughout the month.

Whew...I almost just said I was going to do all the Purple Reign titles. Good thing I looked ahead. There's no way I'm writing a song called "Jack U Off".

anyone else doing RPM? my band is registered and is going to attempt it, so i may be scarce around here for a little bit. but it would be cool to have motivation from other SFers.

I'm in for FAWM - put me on your watchlist. If you are not in as your usual name - post your band name here so I can watch you, too.

EDIt: Looks like I might as well record 10 of them and put them on RPM, too. Do others double dip here?
