Commercial Jingle fight?
So, whenever you decide that you're going to watch some TV, or listen to the radio or something, if you're anything like me, you occasionally get those annoying advertisement jingles stuck in your head.
Basically, the idea I had for a side fight is either cover an advertisement jingle or write your own for either a real or fictional product.
Come to think of it, I kind of like the second idea just a little bit more. Basically, it would have to be clear what the product was supposed to be from the song, and the obnoxiously catchier, forced melody-er, etc. the song is, the better.
I don't really have hosting capabilities (or I do and I don't know how to utilize them), but maybe I could put the entries up on soundclick or something. It's also kind of busy right now, so it might have to wait.
Does anyone else think it's a good idea?

Well son of a buck, it's been done before. About a year and a half ago...is that too recent?Lunkhead wrote:I think it's a good idea.

It's been done but didn't really fly. Much better, but in the same vein, was the Theme Song Fight.

It's not too recent. And like Niveous pointed out, there wasn't really any follow-through. But don't let that stop you from trying again. I still think it's a good idea.

You know, I had an idea to make a commercial jingle ...um, well, a few years ago. I could still try that.
