Question 2: Can I get this song the way the judges will like it by 11 am?

Lunkhead wrote:As mentioned I've been away from the Interwebs, so this is a bit late and not likely to matter much to anybody. Ken misunderstood what I said, which was that I thought we should have explicitly excluded double/half time feel. We didn't, though, so as far as I understand they're completely legit as different tempos. I was not saying anything about how I planned to judge the songs. Sorry for all the confusion.
It all sounds very on the up-and-up (as I expected). Thanks for clarifying.

Anyone got a good "AutoMix" plug-in for Mac?

Almost done!!! Looking forward to hearing everyone's tracks.

Submitted.

Hated this title, but managed to pull something together. After adding some additional flourishes to the basics of the song it went from one of my least favorite songs we've done for this competition, and instead it has become one of my favorites.

ROCK!

Written, recorded and submitted in the span of about two hours last night. Not having the weekend really hurt me. I'm not entirely disgusted with what came out. The song has some potential, but the lack of production will probably lead to my dismissal from Nur Ein.

Sorry fellers, I'ma have to bow out this week. Wrote a good song, but then had no time to do anything unrelated to my brother's wedding, which was last night. Good luck to everybody else!

Just sent mine in, it's pretty awful. I've been moving flats this week and just had no steam so it's very rough. Good laugh though and my worst/most interesting singing yet.

Shame to lose you Jefff, but I guess it gives the rest of us a bit more of a chance. :)

As a listener I am bummed. As a competitor I am breathing a sigh of relief.

From the beginning I pictured you as one of the artists in the top four, and I bet you would have been there if you had been able to complete your song.

So, I'm sorry and relieved to see you go.

ROCK!

Congratulations to your brother, though it's sad to see you (or anybody for that matter) have to drop out. You could always record your song anyway and post it in the Nein thread when you do have time.

Sorry to hear that Jefff, your brother is screwed! Kidding. But seriously, I was really looking forward to hearing how you would twist this title. I had to get all historical on it's ass. It's a weird little song and I'm not so sure it will go over well with the judges :P

Nur Ein????

...Ahh, it's only rock and roll...

Did you not receive mine Niv?

edit: I just got your email Niveous. My cable was out this morning (the whole street). I did get it in before people even had a chance to listen. Don't kick it out due to a matter of minutes. I worked sleepless nights to get this song made.

I tried to make a playlist file:

I'm not able to test it at the moment. (The link works, though.)
