The first episode hooked me. I haven't been disappointed yet. Dark fairy tails, mystery, fantasy and crime drama all in one. I implore you, what's not to love? :ugeek:

I can't believe you guys aren't talking about Grimm yet. There are only 3 more episodes left this season. This show gets better and better. Monroe is my favorite character. He's a total nerdy geeky vegetarian werewolf. He's a watch repair man. He geeks out on and collects old German mechanical things, mostly time pieces. He has some of the funniest one liners EVER!

Erin and I love this show. We're totally hooked! I get especially into it for some reason. The characters are great, and they're doing a great job of balancing the weekly murder plots with the unfolding greater story and world. Monroe is definitely the best, his dialog and the actor's delivery are priceless.

Finally! I knew I couldn't be the only one in love with Grimm.

Lunk, take the test to find out which creature you are. http://www.nbc.com/grimm/games/which-gr ... a4f15774cc

I'm a Ziegevolk. But not a toad eating Ziegevolk. The funny thing is that my astrological sign is Capricorn. The horny goat. lol *cue the twilight zone music*

A Ziegevolk (pronunciation: TSEE-guh-fohlk; Germ. Ziege "goat" + Volk "people") is a goat-like Wesen that are also known as "Bluebeards". The Ziegevolk are rather meek goat-like creatures that give off a scent, a pheromone, that is excreted from sweat glands that attract women to them. They do not intend to kill their victims and are considered lovers not fighters.

Ziegevolk are often found in bars where they use their pheromones to lure and seduce victims. Ziegevolk that eat toads are not breeders, but herders, a rarity amongst the species. Unlike breeders who just seduce women, herders kidnap and rape them. The toads allow the Ziegevolk to give off a more potent pheromone that attracts a victim more easily.

Oh man, that episode was gross and creepy, the way the guy ate the toads, yuck. Plus that actor, he's super creepy. He was in "Mulholland Drive" in a really creepy way. Poor guy has been type cast I guess. I'll take the test and post the results, thanks for the link.

Also, we don't know anybody else who watches the show either, which sucks, because we're worried it'll get cancelled. I've watched too many good shows that have a major cliff hanger ending to season one then get cancelled.

Oh I know, that guy plays the perfect creeper in that episode. He reminds me of Quentin Tarantino, or if QT had a brother, every time I see him.

I have a feeling it'll get picked up for another season because there's nothing else in that Friday night time slot. It won't really get the general interest until the season 1 DVD is out and the non tv people can stream/rent it. Then I think it will blow up. IMO.

And I love the episode names. Last Friday with the Eisbibers (ice beavers) was Leave It To Beavers, lol.

Tonight is the seasons finally final episode for Grimm. It got picked up for another season, so it will be a cliffhanger.

So now all you streamers can rent the whole season and get into this awesomeness.

It got renewed?!! AWESOME! I'm happy to hear that this won't be yet another show that I love that gets cancelled after one season and ends with an unresolved cliffhanger.

Also, it's "finale".

They played it again in the normal Friday night time slot last night. I was hoping they'd keep it on Fri. It's the only thing good on a Friday night. Then right after, Dateline, which is one of the only show of it's kind that I like. The DL SNL spoof is funny!

The new Grimm last night. I guess they are airing Monday and repeating Friday.
Anyway, I won't leak any spoilers. But OMG! Great episode! They are really moving the story into place right now.

Wait, a possible spoiler below.
I was a little disappointed that they went for the sleeping beauty and prince thing. Even though it's not the happy fairytale version. But Nick is supposed to be the prince, not Renard. But how many fricking shows/movies are going to jump on that lame ass bandwagon? And now that his hexenbiest is dead, how will he get a antidote if it goes wrong? I'm guessing Monroe and Rosalee because they're the only ones that know the ingredients in the pure of heart potion. Could get interesting. :O
Oh, and do you think Mom grimm saw Renard come out of the hexenbiest's house when she was going to have a mother to mother sit down? She knows there is a prince in Portland. Did she put two and two together and that's why she acted like she left town but didn't tell Nick? Am I geeking out on this way too much? lol

'Nother fan here. Good stories! And being set (and filmed!) in Portland doesn't hurt, either  They even get the spatial references right (unlike other shows/movies [Speed, for example] where multi-mile jumps [Ocean Blvd in Long Beach southbound to the then under construction 110 overpass--or whatever it was] are made in the same scene--which always bugs me), and is a much better representation of Portland than, say, Portlandia (gag).

You never know when you're going to stumble on a Grimm filming up here... Last episode of season 1 where Nick & Monroe are in a coffee shop was shot in a real coffee shop around the corner from mi casa. Hell, they don't even re-signage the places where they film.

Good stuff, totally hooked.
