Re: Help Make Me Loud - Amp Recommendations?

Wow, way to go the extra mile Ken :-) That's awesome, I'm gonna look into a couple of those. Besides tube, can you tell me any other types of specs I should look at when looking at amps? Specs are misleading-- try and play through it before buying if you can. Music stores will let you, craigslist f...

I might enter, I might not. You'll see a few entries from people you weren't expecting, and a few people on your list will not show up at all. I'd just run a round zero and adjust for whatever numbers you get.

Nope; a great example is Puce's Brownie Points, which he did even though he had a pass that week. The chorus was along the lines of "I don't have to enter a song, I'm just doing this for brownie points."

The lights are probably just a security thing. I sleep with all my lights on.

Actually, unless it explicitly says so somewhere (I didn't really look too closely) I'd guess that it was the 39th one off the line that day, not that year. Not sure if that really matters though, it looks cool either way.

Are amps something else you'd like to tinker with? If so, check out the Epiphone Valve Jr. I've got he head and a kit to upgrade it. I also like the look of the Crate Blackheart series. (Yes, I am a fan of low-watt tube heads.) I'll tinker w/ anything if it's not too complicated. If it gets too com...
