Re: Recommend me a keyboard synth

For 'not too expensive' but 'sound quality is more important than price', and the ability to go get really screwed up sounds, I would head directly for a blofeld keyboard. Downside is that it isn't a 'one knob per function' synth so you might bounce of it's user interface, but you should definitely ...

Re: Another thread about vocals

(Obscurity, please don't shriek at me for posting that.) Did you post that just to piss me off, or did you have another reason? Actually, y'know what, forget it. I need a break from this shit. It's taking way more out of me than I'm getting out of it. I'm sure I'll be back at some point in the future.

Re: Indiana Jones 4

I'm in a bad mood and I just wrote a really snotty reply to this, but (unusually for me) reconsidered just before clicking send. Why the fuck do you think anybody gives a shit about that? Don't you have anything better to do than post whatever random inanity comes to your mind regardless of whether...

I'm hoping to see this one within the week. I'm in a bad mood and I just wrote a really snotty reply to this, but (unusually for me) reconsidered just before clicking send. Instead I'd like to just ask: why are you telling us this? I'm in a bad mood ... Ahhh for the same reason you just told us thi...

Re: Another thread about vocals

But from the sounds of it - if I want a dynamic, I should do the SM58. The SM58 is certainly a decent mic (I have one myself) but I wouldn't dismiss the others out-of-hand. For a start, if you like the SM58, you really want to take a look at the Shure Beta 58, which is like the SM58's big brother.

Sorry, my mistake:

I think you'll find the technical term is 'didgeridoo'.

Surely Rolph Harris has destigmatised Stairway To Heaven?

Edit: oh, and the list of stuff that everyone else loves but I hate? Very long list.

FWIW, I mix by headphones all the time and swear by the Beyerdynamic DT100 Pro headphones. Comfortable enough to wear for hours on end, wide frequency response range and high SPL.

Hmm....an album from some random stranger who's never posted to the boards before and doesn't even give me a clue what kind of music it is (much less why I'd want to remix it), or a new nine inch nails album. I wonder which one I'll be spending my time remixing? :) 'Because once I start I cannot sto...
