I'm aiming for Moonshine. We'll see how it goes, but like te President and Red Sox Nation, I'm foolishly optimistic.

Oh, great . So I get penalized for not causing extra work for the mods? Ach, that's the last time I don't complain. Remember, you asked for it, Cashpoint! Taste the acrid urinary bouquet of my whinge as I splatter the tiles of this place with it! Ahhhhh, what a relief! I've been holding it in for so...

I didn't get HSR for a long time, until I realized that they're a kid's act. Like, for real. Grownups only dig them the same way they dig the subtexts in shows like Spongebob or, oh, Pee Wee's Playhouse . I'm not saying Strongbad is gay (he might be, but who cares), I'm just saying this stuff is aim...

The Neighbors - Jonathan Richman (it's a duet) Did he do a version of this besides the one on the "Jonathan Goes Country" album? And now I'm singing "Reno" and "Corner Store", heh. Rock! There is another version, actually: The version on Jonathan Goes Country is a rewo...

A full day and a half since someone posted even a comment to this thread that wasn't me? Jesus, people. If I'm the only one listening, I'll review my song first. Yes, these are wordy. Because I tried. Tony Hightower - I originally wrote this with serious harmony, and no instrumentation. But then I b...

Shower Scene (formerly Start Over ) It's over, I know For real now, it's over, I know And I'll leave, even though I don't really want to go And start over It's the end of the line I know that it's the end of the line For the most part, it's fine But a part of mind would start over Under the bridge ...

I'd like to formally change the name of my song to "Shower Scene." It's about a fellow who's trying to wash his last flame out of his hair, with not much success, while having an apocalypse fantasy. In the shower. Seriously. Don't worry about moving it now (and I'm not just saying this bec...

I had a 17-part harmonic arrangement (well, okay, six) for Start Over , but then I made the mistake of picking up Brian Wilson's Smile , and I realized how much that would have sucked. Mhm. Drawing board. Subject for further research. etc. Also, you're welcome. I am, however, in Start Over with a di...

Yeah, you weren't ripping off Foreigner, but they were there. Foreigner made mountains of shite, but every so often their histrionics would line up with a song that needed them (Juke Box Hero, Hot Blooded, Urgent) and Lou Gramm's vein-bursting voice really slammed those suckers home. That's the Fore...

My take. Draft - Love the energy and the guitar sound from start to finish, and the chorus is pure sped-up '74, which is most cool. The vocals could be mixed higher, though; even after three listens, I couldn't barely hear a thing you said. But here, that's a small issue. If you pushed the vocals, i...

It's from The Big Lebowski . It's the part where the Jesus and his bowling partner Liam are merely polishing their bowling balls. On the Dumbrella board, I had Che Guevara in a Bart Simpson t-shirt for it seemed like forever, and I had this lying around as something different, so I figured what the ...

I'd like to get in on this too, if it's not too late.
My four songs. Hm.

The Neighbors - Jonathan Richman (it's a duet)

Cor, Baby, That's Really Free! - John Otway

Come A Little Bit Closer - Jay & The Americans

and what the hell:
Town Called Malice - The Jam

Reviews: Liechty - While I really love the languid groove, I can barely make out what you're saying. It's like you hit the pipe a half-hour before me, and your drugs have kicked in before mine have. It pisses me off, but I know that soon I'll get it. Also, the song isn't all that hot. I've heard you...

I didn't say it didn't rock (or rather, ROCK). Of course it's a song, but I listened to it as a movie trailer. And few trailers rock like that, even when they try.

I say this with high admiration for what you did. I would so see that movie, and not just because of the bikes and the boobs.

After the initial mix, I thought mine was way too Grand Funk (or worse, Golden Earring), especially for my delicate sensibilities. So I sped it up (the first version ran almost 8 minutes. You're welcome.), added a Doctor Who beat, and added some glammy operatic shit to the vocals. I don't have a dru...

Wow. I deal with personal shit for the summer, and all you bastards up and move on me. If you were looking to shake the tree a little by moving to a different tri-state area, it almost worked. Damn.

After a couple of abortive tries to get back in the game, I think I'm in for Motor Psycho.
