Re: Nur Ein XX Round Four "Cracks In The Sidewalk"
I am now unsure how well GarageBand supports using anything other than 4/4. IIRC glennny used GarageBand for many years and made it work somehow though? ...and funnily enough - Garageband/Logic doesn't even seem to do 3/4! (OK - I know what 4/4 and 3/4 are) Last week for Flower Moon - I was thinkin...

Thinking about it now, I am now unsure how well GarageBand supports using anything other than 4/4. IIRC glennny used GarageBand for many years and made it work somehow though? I am actually using Logic now (well - trying to - I think you Sam have mentioned my crappy vocals - I agree - it is giving ...

Re: Nur Ein XX Round Four "Cracks In The Sidewalk"
That's me out. I have no idea what 5/8 meter is nor how to achieve it - and don't really have time this weekend to bother trying to learn. Also not keen on the obscure regional dialect vocabulary in the title. I didn't even know this was a north americanism, but I would have preferred "pavemen...

I'm in. And to give my song some context - Frankie Moodle vs Brush Tail Possum Screenshot 2025-06-08 at 8.50.23 pm.png Frankie and I have never collaborated before. Unless stepping in his shit when he is too lazy to go outside is considered collaboration. And we have of course possibly collaborated ...

Flower Moon Jellyfish d’Amour (and the Banjotron 5000) I met her near the Russel St Courthouse As the moon took its cold vigil in She smiled like a thief with a secret to keep Her voice was smooth as sin Her hair tumbled down like a wildfire Long, red, and catching the gloom It clung to her neck li...

Re: Nur Ein XX Round Zero "Get Cooking"
That sounds like the first line of an annoying song that children would sing on a long car trip
Possibly using a repeating melodic phrase that gets shorter as the song progresses/builds.

Re: Nur Ein XX Round Zero "Get Cooking"
Hi everyone! It's fantastic that Nur Ein is turning 20. I'm really excited and I'm going to do my best to get in. My schedule is complicated and I no longer have my basement/studio because I moved to Alicante four years ago. I'll miss my drums and amps, but I'll try to bring the best stuff from thi...

While I never expected to travel to the USA again, you know, because of recent events - a spud hosted SFl in Seattle could be a thing. I go via Vancouver?

Re: Title suggestions
The next title should be "The Last President" or "Last President" and posted on inauguration day, or the day before it. Honestly, it may have worked better if it had been the current title so that the songs with that title could be posted at that time instead. But hindsight is 2...

I saw Rabid post on Facebook he was evacuated but later allowed home and his house was OK.
Growing up in south east Australia - fire is a present threat every summer. But I have never had to evacuate. Terrifying stuff.

Re: Feedback - NEGATIVE
You suck. It was at least a “cor blimey”.
But I would love a competition with only one word reviews allowed.
So….cor-blimey. Would be acceptable.
.. or is it ‘gor-blimey’?
