I've seen Storm and the Balls live a couple times at Dante's in Portland. From what I've seen on the show, she's a little off her usual form so far. She'll settle in and be even better as long as she stays.

I recently bought 'Picaresque' on my way to work, then sat down at a computer to listen to it and the guy sitting next to me looks over, sees what it is and mentions that he used to be in the band 'Calobo' with the piano player, Jenny Conlee. Small world, I guess.

Jen Trynin has released two great albums. Unfortunately, her first "Cockamamie" released about the same time that Alanis was getting all the attention.

Martha (sister of Rufus) Wainwright's debut has been a constant listen for me since it released.
