How could anyone be proficient at giving an opinion??
Good point.
I just meant that if I hurt someone's feelings or something, I don't mean to, I'm still trying to figure out how to word things . . .

REVIEWS I'm still not very good at this reviewing business, so cut me some slack. Andre Was Here: Yikes, that cough is terrible! I like the trumpet (?). This song is somehow hypnotizing. I don't know why, maybe it's the dragging, repeatitive pace of the song. I don't mean that in a bad way. X...

Senza
What kind of setup do you have?
For this song, I used a BR-8 and a couple of 50 dollar mics . . .

Ellis Island - Senza You can see the highs and lows and I look and wonder how, and you can see the lights of the city from the starboard bow If we look around behind us is our past, In front of us is a sickly old man leaning up against the mast And here we are Men of the land And now we're out to se...

Royalty Day?

Was that a subconscious slip-up?

It seems to fit them, honestly.

Heheh.

ROCK!

Glenn (DR FUNK)

Is that a compliment or an insult? :(

Senza - i'm a big fan of thrumming bass lines to open songs - the female vox is unexpected, but it sounds good - unfortunately, it gets eclipsed in the chorus; i don't know if the mandolin was a good call here - good ending Hey, thanks for the review It's actually a banjo, and not a mandolin, but I...

REVIEWS: Astrolamb: I really like the music, but I think the vocals are a little too high up in the mix. I like the change up, but could have done without the solo. Boltoph: I dig this one, but again I don't dig the solo or the distorted guitar breakdown, they don't feel like they fit. But, it is a ...

A Werkenhorse I'm not sure if you were going for the White Stripes feel but this is all about that. Don't like throwing that comparison right out there but can't help it. It yearns to be rockin' but at a minute into the song it hasn't even changed at all. And you keep repeating the same line and ne...

okok am i the ONLY PERSON IN THE WORLD whose first impulse upon reading that title was not to think of THAT britney? (the title instantly recalled to *my* mind that fleetwood mac song "oh diane") I didn't think of her at first either. For some reason, the title made me thing of a Mooney Suzuki song...

Dan Werkenhorse: The music could be a kind of cool start of a song if there wasn't that joke-rap thing in the beginning, and then again at the middle. There are interesting noises here and it is funky, but then the vocals are 1) ridiculous and 2) mixed to a level where you can't tell what is being ...

I used a PC since I started 'computing' (more than 10 years, I think?). I recently got a Mac (17" G4 Powerbook), and I will never get a PC again.
I don't even have a real reason, I just like it better.

I don't mean this in a weird mean way, but:

If you solve poverty and health issues, the population is going to be on the rise even faster. The earth already has too many people, what would happen then?

How doth thee make a ringer? Depends on your phone/service. I make a low qual wav and use purevoice to convert it to a qcp file. Then when you browse to it with your compatible phone's internet connection, the phone knows what to do. Some phones accept mp3's as ringers, too, which would be a better...

My brother saw Pauly Shore Is Dead, and he has told on several occasions that it was actually REALLY funny.

I get what you're saying, but you feel liberalism is on a steady rise? It feels like it's dying. I mean, even here in Oregon gay marriage was banned (I hate that it happened, I personally voted against the ban). I know that's only one thing, and you can't base the idea of declining liberalism on tha...
