I met the guy who made this at the GDC. He's a cool guy, so it's nice that the game's been so successful. When I spoke with him a week ago, it had been the #1 seller on Steam ever since it's release.
Also, Battles - Atlas is double awesome in this game.

My gut reaction when reading that was to turn to one of the other officers, and ask them to arrest the guy who manhandled you (without the intent of ever pressing charges, mind you), so that 1) The issue gets moved to a less emotionally charged policeman, and 2) Maybe the jerk would realize how inap...

it's a lot harder to sing rock-style vocals if you've practiced classically first. I couldn't agree more, as this is something that still catches me from time to time. The technique is really different, which isn't that surprising. If you're looking for lessons, make sure your teacher knows how to ...

Can anyone explain this stuff to me? I can try. If I'm wrong, I'm sure I'll be corrected. I don't understand. Does this stuff mean anything? Who is voting in these primary things? Primaries are when the political parties choose who amongst them is going to run for president. Can anyone vote? Short:...

VBR = Variable Bit Rate. The encoding for these files adjusts the bit rate on the fly, so it can compress the song as much as possible without losing fidelity during the parts of songs that would show obvious compression artifacts at low bit rates. So when you encode to mp3, make sure you have a con...

Well, that's why he suggested a USB card, not an Expresscard. After a brief search, the only one I could find for <$100 was the Fast Track USB , but if you were going to get something like that, I'd say save your pennies for something like the Edirol UA-25 (~$250), which has more inputs as well as b...
