Re: Instant Band: Song Fight Edition
Yep. I wanted to get the sign ups during the gap between the deadline and the new title. I may post this again in the prefight thread to see if anyone else is interested. We already have enough sign ups for at least a couple of groups. Having seen who signed up, super groups is probably more accurate.

Wow. Hope you like Berkeley Social Scene this week. We have a collaborative track and you also get solo tracks from Lunkhead and Glennny.

Re: Instant Band: Song Fight Edition
My thought was that the group would make that decision rather than it be assigned, or are you suggesting it is a role in addition to the others? Even when we did this in person, someone eventually had to take the lead and get the group working together.

Instant Band: Song Fight Edition
Hi All, Before the pandemic and shelter in place orders, Sam and I were going to an event in Berkeley called, "Instant Band Night." It was a lot of fun for us because we got to make up songs with other local musicians. It was really low pressure, and everyone was really nice. Basically, you showed u...

Re: The Endless Song Fight (Jukebox) Playlist
I'm going to choose Abecedarian's A Promise is a Promise next. This is a really great song by a talented and nice guy. They've entered under a handful of different names, but this is the track that hooked me.

I tried to get this song in, but it arrived too late to be included in the fight. Maybe someone will listen to it here.

Re: Any free drum pad plugins?
Glad to hear you found a solution. Here is something for Ipad/phone that seems to be in line with what you are looking for: https://midipadapp.com/ That lead me to google, "midi pad app" and bunch of others showed up. Now I'm curious about doing this with my Amazon Fire. Is it complicated to get the...

Re: I'm sorry but (I Can’t Turn It Off prefight)
I just sent in a song for this fight. I kept moving forward, but not feeling great about it. I really like the guitars and the hook, but the lyrics aren't great, and the overall production felt rushed. I will totally understand if it isn't added to the fight. I just wanted to get it done. Thanks in ...

Hi All, I'm sure most everyone is aware that Bandcamp.com has been giving artists 100% of their proceeds on certain Fridays this year. If you are buying anything today, share it here, or suggest an artist or album you think others should buy. Here's what I just picked up: Return to Paradise by Monst...

Best Albums of 2020 - a fun game!
Hi All, I'm curious what your favorite albums of 2020 are, but instead of just listing them, I had the idea for a game, and here is how you play: 1. Pick a Best Albums of 2020 list somewhere on the internet and post it here. (For example, here's one from Amoeba Records ) 2. Give yourself a point for...
